What we are actually for

Most people who walk in have already been told three different things by three different places. Our job is to cut through that: look at your hair or skin properly, explain what is going on in plain English, and give you a route that fits your budget and your patience.

That means we do fewer treatments than some clinics and more consultations. It means patch tests get done properly and courses get spaced correctly even when it is less convenient. And it means if you are better off with a good haircut than a course of laser, we will say so.

The training academy grew out of the same instinct. Too many therapists were arriving in the industry with a one-day certificate and no confidence. Teaching in a working clinic, in groups of four, on live models, is a slower way to train people — and the only way we were willing to do it.
